Families and friends, please join us this Friday for the Myrtle Crest Talent Show. The show will start at 1p.m. in the gymnasium. Visitors are required to check in at the main office and get a visitors pass.

Mark your calendars for May 30th, 2024. Pre-K students must be 4 years old before September 1st, 2024. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old before September 1st, 2024. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate and shot records. 

Tomorrow 5/8/2024 Due to city road work, 4th Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Please use Bothwick St. to 6th Street to access the high school main office during this time.  The map indicates in red the closed streets, and in green the detour. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The building has been cleared and staff and students are currently returning to the school.

The Myrtle Point High School received an unconfirmed Bomb threat this morning May 6, 2024. The students and staff have been evacuated and are all safe, while the Myrtle Point Police and the FBI perform a thorough walk through the building.

The Myrtle Point 4th graders had a fantastic day back in March, as highlighted by the MP Herald (May 1st Edition). They visited the ODFW Coquille Valley Wildlife Area. So much fun and so much learning! Mark your calendars now for the Myrtle Crest Elementary Geography Fair set for Tuesday, May 21st, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

School tomorrow for all students. We would like to thank the City of MP for being able to isolate the water outage to a minimum, so the school will not be effected by the water outage tomorrow. Go Bobcats!

It was a great morning here in Bobcat Country! Congratulations Logan Backman! Logan signed his letter of intent to play Football for Willamette University this morning! We are so proud of you Logan! Go Bobcats!

On Monday, April 29th, grades 7th through 12th will have a no school day due to the construction on Harris Street that will result in a lack of water during school hours. Myrtle Crest Elementary will have school and busses will run as normal. We appreciate the City of Myrtle Point for their collaboration and communication during this process. Go Bobcats!

Spring Bobcat Cub Athletes stand proud! The future looks bright for Bobcat athletics. 151 kids, ages Pre K- 6th. Baseball and T ball have 95 participants. Softball has 45 Participants. Track has 11 Participants. (Pictured 2nd-5th grade spring athletes) GO BOBCATS!!!

The baseball/softball games that were scheduled for today are re-scheduled for Monday. Softball will start at 4:30pm at Lions Park. JV Baseball will start at 2:30pm and varsity baseball will start at 4:30pm. Go Bobcats!
