Maple Middle School STEM- (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
In STEM the students designed a prosthetic hand made from cardboard. Once completed, they researched and wrote about the 4 different types of prosthetics, the future of prosthetics, causes, and impact. Students then tested their prosthetic hand by picking up materials around the classroom, checking for proper finger movement and adjusting as needed.
