This year there have been some changes to the pick-up and drop-off systems at Myrtle Crest Elementary School. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this process.
Morning Drop-Off:
The school day starts with breakfast in the cafeteria. Myrtle Crest School is required by the state to serve "breakfast after the bell”. This means all students need to be in the cafeteria for breakfast. Eating breakfast is an option, but attendance is required. Please have your student(s) there by 8:05.
After school Pick-Up:
Parent pick-up and bussing for Myrtle Crest begins at 3:20 PM.
Parents, please wait outside the gymnasium doors. The school staff will release your child to you outside.
The photo below is color coded to help you understand visually where to wait when you pick up your child.
Yellow area = walking only, no standing
Red area= No foot traffic- Buses only
Green area= parent pick up waiting area only

Here are the 2024 Middle School Fall Athletics Schedules.
Middle School athletics are practicing today at 3:30pm at Myrtle Crest. Football and Cross Country will be on the track/football field and volleyball will be in the gym. Go Bobcats!

School starts Tuesday. Please be cautious of students walking and buses on the roads starting next week. Student safety is a priority, we appreciate your patience.
First day of School Reminder:

1st - 5th @ Myrtle Crest
6th ONLY @ Maple Middle
9th- 12th @ High School
Wednesday, September 4th:
7th and 8th begin @ Maple
Grades 1 through 12 ALL in attendance at their respective schools.
Reminder middle school sports start today!
Volleyball will meet at Myrtle Crest Gym from 3:00-4:30pm.
Football will meet at Myrtle Crest Football field from 3:00-4:30pm
Cross Country will meet at Myrtle Crest Track from 3:00-4:30pm.
All game schedules will be made on Wednesday and handed out/posted on Thursday of this week. No games will start till the week of 9/9/24.
