THANK YOU LUNCH HEROS!
School Lunch Hero Day is held annually on the first Friday in May in honor of each person responsible for providing lunches (and food) to millions of children across America. This year, it will take place on May 5. If you looked forward to tasty food and a full belly in school, you know exactly whom to thank for this.
The assembly today at Myrtle Crest was great fun for all. After hearing from guest speaker Karl Smith, some teachers got Footloose to demonstrate to students how great a show of talent can be. That was followed by some masterful mummy wrapping that was such fun to watch!
